Understanding Your Customers!

You must already know this, that understanding your customers has been an important part of business. More so, in these post covid times it is going to be doubly important to understand your customer and know what they are looking for. There are definitely people itching to shop and spend their money and there are also people who are facing hardships and want to save money. Your business needs to see the reality and take steps to adapt and serve both customers.
For example if your customer is focused on saving instead of spending money, it is important to give him his money's worth. You should find ways to add more value to what he/she is buying, whether it means creating a special offer or throwing in a nice affordable accessory to update the look. Just make sure the product is worth it for him/her.
Remember all relationships have an emotional component - and that holds true between your customers and you. Your relationship with customers is built over time and nourished by experiences over several physical connects. A crisis like this keeps both strengths ad weaknesses in the spotlight. The "lockdown" nature of the response to this crisis has forced people to be physically distanced from friends and family. A lot of big retailers have lost the human element in the shopping experience and that is where your business can add value. The human connect that you have with your customer is more valuable at this time than the best price, coolest products or the most memorable marketing campaign.
Keep in mind the impact of your actions you take today, will outlast the pandemic, and define the loyalty people will have towards your business.
